Montreal, breaking out down the ice for the powerplay, and it’s a drop pass! Picked up by Suzuki and he whistles another drop pass to Hutson. Hutson skates to center and he lays a picture perfect drop pass to Matheson. Matheson skates forward and drops it back to Jakob Dobes, who with nobody left to drop it to, throws it deep into the zone and will have to buy dinner for everyone else who managed to get their drop pass in.

The drop pass is absolutely useless and it does nothing more than waste time.

They should just nickname Slaf ''Shooter''. So that he'd think more of shooting.

Still a CHILD relax bud lol

He was caught in between shooting or setting up the Captain
He obviously saw Nick was covered a fraction too late

These are the things NHLers hopefully assimilate and adapt to as they come along
You really have to hope it's that. That it's something he will get next year...or the year after. It has to.

Unfortunately his shot is pretty poor. Very slow, mostly.

He's a fine passer, though. He "just" needs to play with a lot more intensity.

He's 20.
