I don't know if you're just breaking balls but personally just like people should defer to Habs fans when talking about...the habs, I personally would rather look to Bruins fans when talking about Gorton's tenure and hes universally praised for what he did and most of the people I've either talked to or heard from think he should've 100% been the GM instead that fool Cherelli

Yea, Gorton did have a hand in building the Cup winning team and the one that made 2 finals in Boston.

He also has a hand in the Rangers' success. They shit the bed this year. But they did make the Conference Finals twice in the last 4 years (2022 and 2024).

The valuation nest egg give me a break.
That so called nest egg was getting built up no matter what regardless of if it was Gillette or Molson.

At this point, I'm really confident with management and scouts what they are going to do in 2025 draft.

We have already the players to building something special. 2 franchise players with Demidov and Hutson. Top two-way C, leader, elite player with Suzuki. 2 very very good wingers who are going both 1st line players with Slafkovsky and Caufield.

A future top 6 C with Michael Hage who can become something more if everything goes well. But this guy is a true high top end talent and he have everything to have impact in top 6.

2 two-way D who will be very good in all aereas of the game, Guhle and Reinbacher.

Top young goalies with Fowler, Dobes and Volokhin.

Great prospects depth with Heineman, Beck, Kapanen, Florian Xhekaj, Rohrer, Thorpe, Sawyer, Engstrom, Mailloux, and more.

Everything they are going to do, I'm 100% sure they will acquire players who will perfectly fit with that really good system we already have.
