I'm not buying that. He isn't moving his feet nearly enough, is not paying attention to details of the game, has poor defensive positioning, and is closing in on -20. He is what he is and won't be in the NHL much longer if he doesn't get his act in gear.

Sadly that's true. Hopefully it improves deeper into the season. Maybe it's more of a mental thing and him a bit scared of getting hurt again.
