Slaf is lucky he isn't making 8M this season. Next season he will know what it's like to play in Mtl, make a ton and produce nothing.

Whenever a player signs an extension, the perception is thst they are already making that money whether the contract has kicked in or not. The pressure might ramp up to an extent next year but I don't think this would be a primary reason for it.

Probably. But Matheson peewee level blunders (i can count at least 3) makes the defense looks worse than it is today. Don't get me wrong the defense is not good but those blunders and Beecher beating him 1 on 1 (to give a mini 2 on 1) makes the defense look way worse than it really has been.

The game has been effectively over since the Bruins took that 3-0 lead. Can't really draw any conclusions from what happened since. As soon as we got back within two goals it's been Bruins all over again. We simply haven't been competitive in this one.
