Big time. Als' keys to success have been their defense and special teams. Not just today, but practically all year.

And to think in the off-season, everything looked bleak. There were issues with ownership, Maciocia couldn't spend money because there was none. Guys like Eugene Lewis and Jake Wieneke left because there was uncertainty.

Now PKP saved the franchise, Maas is hired and now the team will play for the Grey Cup.

I can't imagine how much better the offense would be if Lewis and Wieneke never left. Those two were studs. Lewis

Our D has been the only thing we've had since AC hung up his cleats. Thorpe has been the one constant. Special teams and O side was what generally did us in and led to the loss of fan interest.
