That's a pretty serious accusation.

For example, I have always had certain questions of suzuki as far as what his realistic ceiling is, but one thing I will not question is his commitment to the organization, and the preparation he puts into his profession.

It's stretch to imply that a guy like Nick Suzuki doesn't care.

Did i say Suzuki? The Core 4 was in reference to another poster who called Gallagher, Anderson, Asia and Dvorak the Core 4 as a joke. I am question the 20 million in wasted cap space on 4 players who clearly don't appear to care with the exception of Gallagher.
For that matter since you bring up the Captain who thinks the 7-2 game wasn't as bad as the score, perhaps he needs to elevate his leadership a bit.

Disappointed at the lines. Dach, Suzuki and Caufield should be shuffled across them. Just roll the lines equally at 5v5 until something works. Big game for this trio as they have been terrible this year.

Have only seen box scores and highlights and whatever some buds tell me with the occasional listen to tsn radio but it sounds like the Habs record is flattering to their performance. What would the players grades be to date?

Grades are irrelevant because the rebuild is going perfect and Marty’s coaching and the roster construction are both unquestioned successes

Ahh, okay. In that case, I agree that there are certain veterans going through the motions. Dvorak would be top of the list for me.

Going back to Suzuki, did he say this during the post media scrum? I don't really equate leadership with what is said in those settings. The goal in media communications is just to give them whatever vanilla answers that dont add fuel to the fire.
