Yup. Center, speed, work ethic, ace pker, solid face-off guy, drives play, and not expensive. He's going to be a valuable piece if we sell him.

I don't really want to sell him if he's willing to extend reasonably. He's a perfect 4C, young, and liked by the guys. We already have too many picks/prospects/assets to figure out so another 2nd isn't a desperate need.

imo we overvalue effort level with Gallagher. if you try real hard but you suck ... you still suck

Barron has better neck proportions I find this year. He gained some mass. The proportions aren't where you want them for an NHLer, but it might explain why he's had better moments.
