I've been pumping his tires since his felon days and I missed his first goal.

1st goal was just a nasty shot by Horvat. No problem with that other than someone needs to cover him. He makes a living off that play.

But, that 2nd goal was just a cluster f*** by Montreal. First of all, Savard chases the puck carrier back into NYI's zone? Why? We don't have control of the puck. He should be near our blue line playing, you know, D.

And, absolutely no one covers for him, leaving Struble with an odd man rush against - again. Savard has been absolutely atrocious to start the season. He's screwing his defense partners over big time.

Secondly, Dach needs to be benched. Yeah, I know he needs time, blah, blah, but his effort on that goal was non-existent. He had more than enough time to get back & help out Savard. He was f***ing right there! He's f***ing cruising around like it's f***ing pick-up hockey. Move your feet, and get your motor going, Dach.
Personally I thought both goals were Xhekaj's fault.

I've been proposing to have Newhook at C and Kirby at wing since last game. I think we shouldn't be close minded about Newhook being a good #2 C.

He did a solid job filling the void left by Monahan last season. There's no reason to force Kirby at C right now when we have Newhook ready and capable to take over.

They're both just keeping Hage's seat warm for him if we're being honest.
