Was targeting the 2026 draft not this one .For this draft just forfeit pick even if we miss playoff blow core and bet on 2026 draft like the 2020 draft for quicky retool. 2026 1st is the main piece in a Brady trade + a decent top 9 forward add to that a 2nd or two and it's a decent trade for us. But you trade him only to a team that can bottom out in 2026 (like sharks) aka St-louis, Boston, Pitsburgh .

But for sure you take the best return possible since he is our best trading asset
