Sens fans right now debating if Brady and Sanderson should play tonight

Based on the Oilers game, maybe it's better if Tkachuk doesn't play. McDavid and Ekholm were both -3 and might have struggled on coming back to reality.

That said, different story in the Detroit-Minnesota game

Faber played 30 mins for the Wild damn.

It may sewer our playoff chance, but at least we got to witness an exciting meaningless exhibition tournament.

Day-to-day but was able to play on Thursday! Didn’t miss a shift! Cool cool, it’s not like this team hasn’t made the playoffs in years.

I wonder if Walt will go on a podcast and talk about how his son needs more help…

I just turned on Sportsnet and 37 year old Sidney Crosby is on the ice.

The fact that Brady doesn't play pisses me off, come on man you just played two nights ago and now you can't play for the team that's paying your salary. His our freaking captain and he's a no show for a team that hasn't made the playoffs for the last 7 years and is in a dog fight to make the playoffs. It's very disappointing

Are you serious that you don't understand that the championship match might've meant a bit more to him that he'd be willing to play through a minor injury. Jack Eichel has a cup and he said it was the most important game of his life, obviously he's going to play through something minor for a game that important.

I'm also confused as to the amount of people that assume this is his call. It very well could be the Sens medical staff wanting to sit him tonight.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that's why people are not happy? Because of how he's prioritizing things.

The guy hasn't sniffed the post season his entire career, and now that we're in the mix, he's a no show with 26 games left to go. He made a choice, and people are disagreeing with it because we're fans of the Ottawa Senators first and foremost.

Well if he has a minor injury the team should say that and I would accept that, but if it was me I would show up and play and show the fans and my teammates how important it is to me to make the damn playoffs. Crosby played today and he's not 100% but that's why Crosby is a winning he gets it.

It would also be a different story if the team was relatively healthy. The fact that we’re missing our 2 and 3 C’s possibly two top-4 dmen, and he won’t play just makes it worse.
Yep

Selfishly it's frustrating but any player in that tournament would put playing for their country above their NHL team.
