Do you see any other sport have commercial breaks during game play? Of course not. If you're going to treat it like a real sport then you don't have action going on during the commercials that isn't shown. You go to it live like you do for any real sport. The atmosphere there is not something you can feel from your couch. You also give something away that you shouldn't as a wrestling company. You give away the fact that the match isn't going to end during that break which wrestling should avoid at all costs. Matches should be presented in a manner where it can end at any time. Commercials kill that.

Other sports have stoppages, wrestling doesn't. Wrestling is more like car racing in that regard, who do go to commercial breaks during the action.

As part of WWE Premiere Week, new voices will be brought to the Raw, NXT and SmackDown broadcasts. Raw’s new announce team will include play-by-play from Vic Joseph with Dio Maddin and WWE Hall of Famer Jerry “The King” Lawler serving as analysts; NXT play-by-play will be called by Mauro Ranallo with Beth Phoenix and Nigel McGuiness as analysts; and SmackDown will feature Michael Cole handling play-by-play, Corey Graves serving as analyst and Renee Young as a Special Contributor.

That's not true. Wrestling has stoppages when a match ends or a fall ends. A match isn't going to go on TV for hours on end like car racing so that's a poor comparable while also not being a sport. lol
