This is when Seth should take a stance and refuse to go :sarcasm:

"We want you to work with Bro-"

"UHHHH I THINK THIS IS ALL IMMORAL AND AWFUL IM STAYING HOME...sucker"

They would have Styles beat him on Monday and then have Brock vs Styles

I expect it for Fox, but Saudi Arabia has a Kofi match already and not a Seth match. Seth is in a program with no one. It’s not hard to see what the match is going to be.

Heyman mentioned Becky on Monday, this week he interupts Her promo with Brock by his side. Becky slaps Brock, he goes to give her the F5! Seth runs down and say stop I’ll give you a title shot, just don’t hurt her. No cash in needed. Brock can then keep the MITB briefcase til fox debut. He then gives Becky the F5 anyway for massive heat.

CFFC will run 6pm to about 800-845pm.
DoN will run 8pm to about 1030-11pm
There is a regional airport 15 minutes away from Casino 29
Takes 1 hour to fly from Cali to LV.
MCM Grand is 5-10 minutes away from the LV Airport
Travel Time: 1.5 hours

Which means, in theory, Punk could be at the venue between 930 & 1030 and they can do a segment/quick match.

It's pretty damn crazy, but it is do able.

I don't think this would be the right show to bring in Punk, he'd over shadow everything else. The everything else being Omega makes the everything more important right now.

If they do have Punk, I think they'd be better off having him play Lex Lugar when their TV starts.

The mark CM Punk would make, anytime is the right time. They definitely want to build up interest to their network debut, it doesn’t serve them to have that be the surprise, the audience is already watching. If he is in, they want to promote that.

There's definitely a case for wanting him advertised for the TV debut, but I think the show debut alone should be enough already. I'd rather use Punk as the hook to ensure fans come back for next week. Especially if they've already got Moxley who they can advertise.

Of course they most likely have one (or neither) of them, which would change things.

If Punk isn’t here, it should be on their first show on TV imo.

Week one may be a smaller viewership number, but if it ends with CM Punk appearing? They’ll take off.

I'm thinking that if you're getting Punk and you have him, then it's him vs. Kenny on the debut of the TV in October for the title. WWE is going to be pulling some kind of truck to get their ratings up for both shows that week. You gotta be able to promote that show, and then if the show is awesome, then that's the statement you've made to establish yourself. They'll all come back for Week 2

Considering intergender wrestling already (Thankfully) got shut down by sponsors when they were gonna have Nia bury Ambrose, this ain't happening.

Well, Gary Hart is dead, I didn’t even know he was an agent at that time to be honest.

But listen if this was happening at a military facility that’s a big deal.

Sure, it's a big deal if it happened there or anywhere else, but the key word ultimately is "if". The way people were talking though, treating it as a fact or clamoring for it to go viral or cancelling network subscriptions or hoping that pressure would be put on sponsors, I expected there to be more to it in terms of actual evidence. That kind of reaction is sadly normal on the internet I guess though, and to be fair the description of how Vince/WWE allegedly acted certainly isn't outside the realm of possibility.

Except I’m worried if I’m AEW about pink having enough time to get into shape for that main title match.

That first title match has to be a barn burner and if pink isn’t in wrestling shape you hamper yourself already.

If you have both Punk and Moxley signed have Moxley win the battle royals gives you a potentially great match vs. Kenny; punk shows up at the end of the show to stare down both Moxley and Omega gives you a shot at

1) a barnburner of a main event
2) a cliff hanger for people to tune in the following week.

Side note of the 4 unannounced spots (and probable winners) rumor is one of them is Joey Ryan; is that the same pe#is Joey Ryan?

What’s Ibushi’s contract status btw?

Ibushi has a full-time NJPW deal that is supposedly forever.

Yes that's the same Joey Ryan

Punk could show up here and then have 4 months to be ready for a high-profile match. I haven't seen Punk anywhere recently, but I bet he's probably not that far off, he does still train in MMA.

Most people are already dismissing it as "she was a nut". Especially the kind of folks who never want to hear a bad word about WWE.

Yeah, if they start doing Becky/Seth storylines I'm officially out.

Of course, there's a history. Right around the last time I checked out of WWE after being heavily invested in someone's story.

Yeah that's not surprising. The other side of the internet coin. I am lucky enough to largely avoid the excessive WWE bubble.
