Amazing a regular season record setting team can blow a 3-1 series lead and game 7 at home and people here are blaming the coach and not the players or the architects of said mentally soft team. Should the coach have some blame, of course, but most of the blame, stop it people it's clown shoes.

Why the f*** is Joe Sacco coaching this team?

The roster has tuned out the coach, and most likely the staff as well....so let's promote the guy who's been on the staff for 10 freaking years.
Fun fact: the Avalanche were trash under Sacco and immediately improved to a 50 win season the year he was replaced. That must’ve been what caught Sweeney’s eye.

Again the Bruins started it in the media, everything else was defense by Swayman and then the Bruins, Hakuna Matada.

If the captain is holding that against him and allowing players to have hard feelings towards him in the locker room, well he's a terrible captain then

The Bruins locker room isolating a talented young player over complete f***ing nonsense? WHY I NEVER!

Always the Bruins fault and not the players. This isn’t 1993 anymore.

Was it thought? Reminder the Bruins had a lead late in game 6 and led 3-2 with a under a minute left in game 7.

It's not like the Bruins haven't shit themselves in key moments prior to this under different coaches.
Under monty rule I cant count the last minute goals that have happened. Regular season plus playoffs I have ate bottles of tums because of this stupidity. I bet sacco at least addressed this hopefully.

They had two game 6 leads. And many in this group choked game 7 vs the Blues at home as well. But hey, let's blame the coach,

pay Dale Hunter whatever the hell he wants in the summer to get behind the bench
The only way that happens if you can somehow move the Bruins to London, Ontario and sell the team to his brother.

Dale isn't leaving the Knights. This was made clear a decade ago when he came in for like 60 games, turned the Caps around, was offered the full time head coaching gig but took his ass back to the OHL.

How many more fall guys will Don and Cam get?

Especially the ones hiring these coaches. Like holy shit. The level of safety these two enjoy with 0 success. Astounding.

The rot starts with the Jacobs and Charlie keeping these clowns around
already too many

again, first thing that came out about negotiations was the Bruins telling Keefe he wanted "ten million" Then you had the agent respond with the 6.5 starting offers. Bruins fault, they started it, which is fine, but don't hold hard feelings and be so butthurt about how it shook out after.

I too was upset with Monty for not going down to block that shot, or making that key save....taking the shot instead of shitty pass. Did you just become a fan under the Monty era or did you see they have choked under the past three coaches at times? It's what they do.

Like I said when you get there you need to win. Only one banner matters and that's the one that says Stanley Cup Champions.

I mean it's Felger sooooo........but I do think there's a little fire behind the smoke here, because it makes sense. I can't imagine Marchand for one being very happy about how the Sway situation was handled. Goes against how he's conducted himself and his approach to the Bruins over many years. Whatever blame any of the guys might attribute to the GM, I there would be a few looking at Jeremy himself and thinking he made mistakes too that had an adverse impact on the wider team. Would not be surprised that there has been some lost of trust and respect over it, not at all.

But I don't see that having much to do with the team's current struggles. Ultimately Sway is the guy who stands in the net and stops pucks. He's not out there skating with the other guys and trying to make plays. We know having confidence in your goalie does have an impact on how the rest of the team plays, but there's a long way from that seed of doubt to the sheer level of under-performance and sloppiness we've been seeing. And the locker room culture really shouldn't fall apart so bad over some bad feelings towards just one player.

So is the Sway matter relevant and of interest? Yes. Does it mean much? I don't think so.
The relevance I think is that this situation may need to be resolved in order for the team to move forward. Like, maybe they think Sway went against their culture and don't want him here. Don't want guys who don't buy in. If that's the case, are they thinking they need to trade Swayman to get him out of the room?

I mean, do 50 scouts and GM's show up to watch you play if the best trade chip you have to offer is Morgan Geekie?

Exactly. Lack of fortitude, despite a historic season.

Hopefully sacco first order of business is to get geekie off the first line. Other teams smell blood when they see him up there . Zacha pasta elias should be together. Need skill to score.

Have to wonder if Pasta's inconsistent effort isn't in part related to the fact they seemed to have acquired close to a legit center, and he's rolling with Zacha and the Geek....gotta be thinking wtf.

2023, game 7 of the cup final in 2019, mentally unravelling against Tampa in 2018, blowing a 3-1 lead to Toronto and not paying for it because lol Leafs, getting absolutely coldcocked by the Islanders in the weird 2021 covid year. That's with two different coaches too. If you wanted to get really pedantic you could throw in the post 2011 Julien years which all mostly ended in chokes.

Someone else in the media said the Bruins are basically the hockey version of the Aaron Rodgers Packers or the supposed "team of the 90s" Braves. One championship, but a whole hell of a lot of other missed opportunities because of their own doing that are numerous enough where they start to overshadow said championship.

I’m really starting to dislike this group of players.

How many coaches do they need to burn through?

the coach, whoever it is, is a scapegoat for a GM and President way past their expiration dates and a group of guys who, apparently, can’t be professional enough to just play the freaking game.
Pasta is his own dude and Marchand's a little over his head as a captain, but I've really come to realize that McAvoy is a dog. We were so fortunate to have Chara anchoring that defense not only as a stud #1 D-man but also as a top of the line man and leader. Charlie is proving the last few years that he's not really either of those things.
