When he becomes the GM after they fire DS, I'll blame you!I wanted Sacco gone for sooo many years... and now he's the coach!
What a world, lol.

Coaching gigs are like cartons of milk, they all have expiry dates.
Thanks and best of luck, Jim.
I’m serious when I say the entire coaching staff should be fired. I’m not happy with just Monty.
1. He sucks5 things to know about interim Bruins head coach Joe Sacco
Sacco was named as the Bruins' interim head coach on Tuesday, taking over for Jim Montgomery. Here's five things to know about him.www.boston.com
There were 8Sacco's been with the organization longer than Sweeney's been GM.
How many players on the current club played for Cassidy? 4? 5?
I'm not seeing a "massive" number of flaws with Bruce Cassidy. Give me a break.
Yep. Jay Leach has made zero impact. Teams we're beating down the door for Joe Sacco either.
Interesting choice .Nick Kypreos has his money on Todd McLellan sometime this season .... for what it's worth
Cassidy's final seasons here? Yes.
Players under bus to preserve his image
Afraid to change
Afraid to call time out
Afraid to have players play tough
Inability/unwillingness to develop youth
Not able to show emotion or call out officials
Cassidy had to go. He did better than Montgomery however all things considered.
Bruins need to find the next one and it is certainly not Sacco.

McLellan to end up in Boston ?
I seriously doubt the average coaching tenure averages much above 3 years, if at all. I could be wrong though.
Not sure if I ever shared this story here but my bro in law lives in Florida and early 90's went to bar and two Bruins were there, Cam and Don. He talked to them for a bit and then Cam told him to beat it lol
10 coaches were hired the same offseason as him. 2 have been fired, one retired because he was turning 70.
The majority of the coaches remained with their team still and most have done much worse than Montgomery.
This doesn’t even include the 5 other coaches who were hired 1+ years before montgomery.
Sure, coaches have a short shelf life. At the same time Montgomery didnt deserve to be one of the first few fired from the 10 coaches hired in the 2022 offseason.
The league has a short shelf life for coaches. It’s extremely short around here.
They’ve had 3 coaches in 17.5 years.10 coaches were hired the same offseason as him. 2 have been fired, one retired because he was turning 70.

I haven't done an exhaustive investigation, but according to Mr. Paine, in 2020 an NHL coach’s average tenure is just 2.4 years.
They’ve had 3 coaches in 17.5 years.

Bruce Cassidy didn't show emotion or call out refs? Nonsense. And as we have seen with Jim Montgomery as well it's not an inability to develop youth. The youth given to these coaches stinks. The prospect pipeline is embarrassing. I don't even know what "afraid to have players play tough" even means. You can stick by it was time for him to go but I'm not buying much of what you're selling.Cassidy's final seasons here? Yes.

I did not like Monty's work this year. And the winningest coach in the NHL since being hired in 2022 didn’t even make it to the league average in Boston.
And Sweeney has fired all three of them in the past 7 years.
