We have four dudes who are top line/top 6 talents, a guy making 7.5 a year with all the tools in his tool box he needs to figure it out and learn how to make it work on the top line and dominate the way he should be. Injury issues are in the past, he’s 24 now and he needs to Be That Guy.
I honestly don't mean it as an insult.

The heavy checking grind it out style fits Svech like a glove. He would be a great permanent wing for Staal and give us a true heavy line that can score anytime it's on the ice which we've lacked in the playoffs. Svech on that line would effectively give us a first and 2 2nd lines

From what we hear this group does a good job of setting their own standards and self governing the levels they need to be at but
I could see Rod really showing his ugly side the way things have been going.

Put it in the Roster Building thread, but per Weekes we are actively exploring a goalie trade with the Kooch injury

Seriously, Necas circled the opposing net before heading back up the ice. That's why he was so far behind the play

Fair enough, maybe we’re just assuming the high skill line is where he belongg but perhaps he thrives more as the main dude in a grind it out big guy environment? Kind of like how Necas is thriving on a line with a couple of role players. Let Martinook play the foil to an Aho Jarvis pairing.

Rod i’ve ran the simulations and cracked the code, let’s make it happen.
