I watched parts of WM30 late last night and man.. what an awesome ****ing show. That match against HHH was incredible. The last part of WM was even cooler. I also watched Cesaro win the ATGBRMRR (lol just making up acronyms now) and the crowd went nuts for him when he picked up big show and walked him over the rope.

I did the exact same thing! Was an awesome show in almost every way.

Rewatched some of WM31 this morning and it wasn't nearly as fun as I remember it live.

Indeed an awesome show but two finishes that in hindsight were bad ideas and really lackluster final Mania for the Shield.

No card is perfect though and the overall show was pretty damn good. The DB story was done pretty much to perfection.

That Monster promo gave me chills. Absolute chills.

Totally OT... but I just watched Man vs. Food Pittsburgh.

You ever been to Primantis (stuffed sandwiches), DeLucas (breakfast) or Quaker Steak & Lube (wings)? :amazed::amazed::amazed:

Need to get out to Pittsburgh ASAP.

DeLucas is solid. Primantis/Quaker Steak is a tourist thing. Primantis is known for fries on sandwich w/ slaw, too, but it's very average. Most Pittsburghers don't go there. Tourists and ex-pittsburghers love it because it reminds them of home.

Quaker Steak is a joke. Just a **** wing joint w/ average sauces. Pittsburgh IS a hueg foodie town, though. I highly recommend getting here. THis town has some of the best food in the country. In fact, Gaucho is named the #7 place to eat in the country according to Yelp.

But I digress.

I know we are not allowed an OT thread for whatever reason... but I am planning a trip to Pitt to watch a Cubs/Pirates series this summer. Any suggestions? I love good food.

I don't know what's wrong with me but I'm legitimately not excited for Wrestlemania much at all. This may be the first Wrestlemania I don't watch live in a decade (but The Walking Dead is its competition, so it's not for no reason...)

It is understandable as the apparent main event feels like a B-show main event. The title match is a mess. Brock/Dean has had a fun build, but they really haven't built the idea that this match is a big deal or that Dean has much of a chance.

Really the only match that legit feels like a big deal is the Women's title match, but to me its because it feels like a step forward in the division and not anything to do with the build.

Thank god for Takeover

Weren't you losing your **** asking for lesnar/ambrose and now that you finally got it you won't even watch it live?

You're a disgrace to the ambrose asylum! :sarcasm:

Anyone else see the story on /r/squaredcircle about "A major wrestling related story that has hidden beneath the surface is starting to poke its head out of the water, and is going to break soon"

I wonder if it's legit or not :dunno:

so an r/squaredcircle story is better than any story on RAW? :sarcasm:

is it wrong I'd rather watch Wicked Tuna on Nat Geo than RAW?

Cesaro was getting HUGE reactions all week. It was insane, his pop when he slammed Big Show was one of the biggest of the night, if not THE biggest (at least move wise it was) - The next night when he announced he's a Paul Heyman guy the place went nuts as well, then...

well...

Man... how big of a disaster are they going to make the go home show tomorrow?

Let's see... it's in Brooklyn, one of the main events is circled around 3 old farts that'll have a spotfest match, another of the main events has the heel authority champion cheered while the babyface contender is booed heavily, and aside from possibly Ambrose/Lesnar, the crowd is going to eat this show alive.

Speaking of Roman Reigns, he gets cheered on SmackDown and on house shows, but those shows are usually in places where the crowds are full of casual fans and marks. However, on RAW, even in those places that aren't smark-heavy, he gets the crap booed out of him.

Basically, this is going to be a very long period starting next Monday.
