God, Brad Shepard is one of the worst wrestling "reporters" out there.

Promised big money title v title unification match only to be ****ed over and given Sheamus and Cesaro on top of a really ****y rest of the show. I don't blame the fans at all.

Cesaro pf all people getting chants during his match is a shame. Yeah, the way they were booked was shitty, but piss off.

So if Seth and Kofi try their match again tonight.........which Raw tag team is going to interrupt and attack them? I say it'll be a pissed off Revival.

Maybe even AoP, since we haven't seen them for a while.

The thing that gets me, is that The Bar makes no sense. They aren’t involved with either guy.

Now if it was Bryan and Rowan, people would have probably loved that, but the WWE are literally brain dead sometimes

Bar has been involved with New Day forever.

Bar has been involved with New Day forever.

In the Tag Team world, sure, but not since #KofiMania has started.

So unless it’s going to Kofi vs Sheamus/Cesaro for the title at MITB, I don’t see why The Bar is the one blowing up the match.

Hopefully Cesaro does beat him for the title. Sheamus did a big interview about Cesaro deserving the World Title. He said he'd rather see Cesaro win the World Title then himself win any title. Hopefully that's where it's going.

And to be fair, they were in the gauntlet for #KofiMania. ;)

Was Cesaro ever IC or US champ? Feels like he's been in a tag team forever, not sure if he ever got that big singles push. At least not a big enough push that ends with a title win.

EDIT: His lone individual title came on a win over Santino Marella for the US Championship.

Seven years ago.

Ended up losing it to Kofi the following year, coincidentally.

Still, though. Dude has been overlooked big time.

He came back from injury in that Number 1 Contender match a few years back that AJ Styles won. He got a crazy big pop. He was getting good reactions for awhile but he kept jobbing and then was put into the Sheamus stuff.

Reading through his wiki page it seems as though he did a shoot during the Superdraft, on how they were booking him. Wouldn't put it past Vince to essentially bury him as punishment, mired in a middle-rate tag team instead of pursuing solo glory like he should be.

Back in the day I loved those heel YouTube videos Cesaro did where he traveled to some US city and spoke with the locals, kinda just ripping on them.

If he's still there tonight, I hope the camera finds him. He's so over.

Edit: he is there. There better be "Simon Miller" chant.

I still think Ambrose is staying. Seems like the WWE is going a bit overboard with his leaving. You usually don't do that for someone who's leaving.

Bruh...

He jobbed out on his way out since The Shield reunion that only happened because Roman came back and it was the last time they could do it. He had nothing at WM, and they did this off air.

I can’t believe people still think this is a work.

Rollins was about to crack and break down when he was on the mic there. Roman didn’t even say anything but has said in all his interview rounds on WM weekend that he’s been essentially begging Dean to stay. Bray Wyatt broke character to say goodbye to Dean on social media.

I’m baffled at what’s so hard to believe that WWE would treat a guy who broke his body and almost literally died for the company being the workhorse for 4 years straight well on his way out. Especially when there’s always going to be HUGE value in The Shield as a draw and they want to keep the door open for him to eventually come back.

Still can’t believe they wasted such a great crowd on that trash show. Part of me thinks they did it because they know the postmania raw crowd is traditionally full of very vocal smarks. Rather than let the crowd hijack the show they just made it so terrible that nobody could really get up for it.

Seems like they're intentionally trying to kill the post-Mania Raw atmosphere the past four or five years.

Last nights crowd seemed like the best in years too. Loud, but not too eager to disrespect with their chants. I’ll even allow the stfu chants directed at Corbin because at least he’s a heel, it fits the narrative that wwe wants.

But then to be given the show they were given, yes you’re gonna get AEW and bullshit chants in your main event with the two hottest guys in the company.
