Between that, and the ''stupid idiot'' stuff from Jericho, it just goes to show you how much dumb, generic crap gets over with todays fans. My Lord... it's like Kindergarten

And yet Roman Reigns cant get over at all...

also "stupid idiot" is amazing, as well as his "watch it" watch what? IT" bit that he has going on.

I almost want to see him have an IC title run

"Todays fans (sic)" like you're forgetting that annoying "What?" got over with the Attitude Era crowd.

I've watched wrestling since the 80s, today's wrestling is no different in what gets over.

Prayers, vitamins? That's far more lame to me.

The storytelling was better back then though.

Jericho's gimmick works as of now because of the fact deep down, he probably believes a small amount of what he's spewing.

WWE has always gotten over on seemingly dumb and silly things since the beginning of time, this is not a new development.

WWE has gotten over on simple catch phrases since the beginning. The ones fans can participate in get over even more.

Hell sometimes it is just character ticks like Seth's laugh.

It doesn't always work though (see Roman Reigns)

jerhico understands wrestling and that why his current heel schtick is really over right now (and why most of his heel gimmicks get over).

What you gonna do? Brother brother jack.

Wrestling will always be the same on some level.

Hell the Rock made a damn career on catch phrases and there is nothing wrong with that.

This is hilarious considering your one of the biggest Reigns marks on this forum

Because "I'm not a good guy, I'm not a bad guy, I'm THE GUY" is so much better

The Jericho insults work because he used to spew Nick Bockwinkel type verbiage, and now he just denigrates people with grade school stuff.

Considering how horrifyingly bad that RAW was, that's surprisingly not awful.

That show deserved like TNA numbers. Especially with it ending on making it look like Ryder is getting a push for some godforsaken reason.

Here's the thing with those numbers: they're not bad at all considering the show WWE put on and the holiday.

However, the HUGE dip in ratings over the past 12-18 months STARTED on a holiday show similar to this one where the numbers were pretty stagnant from hour-to-hour but then the viewers that didn't tune in for that holiday show never really came back.

Well quite frankly Im probably the only one...but I never claimed I like his mic work or catchphrases. But of course as usual with this forum, everything comes back to crapping on Reigns, even when the topic has nothing to do with him. God forbid anyone elses verbiage or promos get critiqued. Can't have that now can we?

You haven't been the only one but cry me a river with the victim complex. This forum talks about everyone and everything and no matter who is in the top spot will often get the most conversation and even more so if it's perceived to be undeserved. Reigns isn't the first and he won't be the last. Other people get their promos critiqued regularly but because they're not in the top spot, they won't be talked about as much. It has been building about the criticisms of Cass' promos in WWE. The forum has *****ed incessantly when Cena or Orton cuts a God awful promo...or face Jericho, good lord that was terrible. People criticize Wyatt's promos fairly regularly. So we can put to bed the nonsense that others don't get criticized in that regard. It's not just your boy but he is an easy target given his position.
