That was ugly. I’ll start missing games for a while and check the score in the morning. Not worth being up all night if they play like this:/

This isn't even the worst loss on the trip, lol
I definitely think it was

We should be steamrolling the Sharks.

But if you're saying this as in we should have been out of the game long ago and not with 30 seconds left, I agree.

We were daring them to get the go-ahead goal as soon as we tied it.

Once again, this is a pathetic no-show game.

I mean even at that time there was basically nothing separating like 4th-12th or something in pts%
it’s true, but we gave up fewer than 20 shots in however many games. it was some of best hockey the devils have played in a decade + and easily among the top of the league. this looks like a completely different team

That's the most embarrassing loss in years

But honestly, team deserves to be out of that long before that happened.

Just a no-show. I'll say it again. Absolutely pathetic effort against the typical cream of the crap, loser, suck, humpty, whatever the f*** team.

Agreed, at least this season, some bad ones last year.

I knew that shit was going to happen with the 4th line out with 3 men in the deepest part of the corner. Sharks were just waiting to rush that out.

Ref block and goalie fail, couldn't script it better.

Keefe needed his faster guys out there to cover the back check.

Getting 0 points again when the game is in reach to get at least a point. This is looking like Ruff results for a bunch of games now.

The 4th line was the best line today and the 3rd line scored a goal. Sorry guys, your narratives are not working today. The top players were absent.
They scored one of the goals and you can't expect them to bring it for 100% of the games.

That third line is really bad.

Guys also look crazy slow both physically and mentally. I hope it's just some fatigue from the congested schedule they've had so far this season, because if it ain't that this is really f***ing concerning.

I didn't think the last goal was that bad, I'll have to take another look,

The goal that made it 2-1 was definitely bad, but if a Markstrom softy is the difference in a game against the cream of crap loser Sharks the team certainly has a ton of problems.

You expect a Markstrom softy to be the difference against someone good.

If we showed up today, we could have STEAMROLLED this team. But this is how we role. We don't get up for the Ducks and Sharks.

We certainly didn't get up for this one. We actually had one good period in the Ducks game. Nothing today.

Yeah too much sloppy play in the defensive zone, Markström had some great save but at some point there is nothing surprising to be punished for this accumulation of bad play, surely it's not a great goal for the goalie but it is rather unfair to blame him for the result

Good thing I didn't change my avatar lmao cause I will never be happy cheering for this team.

Your life is nothing but doom and despair if you're a Devils fan.

there are 41 games to play and it’s neck and neck. there’s no way this decides anything at all. but it’s concerning to see them be so f*cking bad right now
You're right

If anything I think we can kiss winning the division goodbye.

Odds were probably not great before this trip, but the Caps need something like what we're going through right now, while we have another good run just to even get in the conversation for that again.
