Nobody told me there'd be days like these...

There was a pretty big gap to slide in. That's exactly where you want dougie to go on the PP in that situation. Get himself open and dangerous.

That look, if the pass gets through, is about as good as it gets.
And the block leads to a rush against because he can’t recover. I have no problem cheating a little but there was another Devil there and it seemed unnecessarily low for him with his shot

One of these days you’ll figure out that the rest of the defensive unit has better expected goal share numbers, even the shutdown pairing playing way tougher minutes.
Yes. Luke-Pesce have also been incredible. Siegs-Kovy have also been incredible. As i have consistently said

Dougie is playing just as well this year as he has throughout his time in NJD.

I don't evaluate dman based on how well other pairings that are not on the ice at the same time are playing.

When Casey and Nemec were putting up sub 40% xGoals shares it didn't make dougie-dillon or kovy-siegs any better.

And with Luke playing excellently it doesn't make dougie any worse.

He is putting up a 54% xGoals share with a mediocre partner and an above average forward group, while leading great offense and a great PP. Same as he had done previously.

Dougie is going to take chances. It will sometimes end poorly.

But it's going to lead to a ridiculous amount of offense, and help his team more than it hurts.

The packets. There's something about it. I know it's mostly vinegar but I love it.
And sugar! No good :)

The secret to my chili is the dragon cayenne peppers that I grow myself. Brings a much fresher heat than you’d get with cayenne powder or jalapeños.

And my sauce base is the same as my red enchilada sauce. I’d never use anything from packets.

My special ingredient is brown ale I brew myself
