It ran through my head for a second that it could have been some rando that we weren't thinking of from the 03-04 team, and that maybe Rafalski was too easy so it wasn't him. Rafalski was the most logical answer.

I did confirm by immediately going to Rafalski's hockey reference page and going through his 03-04 game logs.
