Canelo vs GGG III was a dud

The age gap was too much to overcome for GGG. 40 year old vs 32 year old is tough. I had it 10 rounds to 2 for Canelo and I was cheering for GGG.

Happy Retirement to Korean Zombie!

Maybe the best Women's MMA fight I've ever seen

Judge giving a 10-8 in Rd 5 is uhh... typical MMA judging

This fight pops up on my suggested feed on YouTube every once in a while & I just have to watch it every time.

Neither fighter were stars at this point (not that Ward every really was one but Gatti at least was once looked as a potential up & coming star) & no belt up for grabs but it still ended up being one the greatest fights of all time regardless of that.

I remember watching this one live. As Italians, my family and I were all Gatti fans. I grew to respect Ward too though. Classic rivalry for sure.

Penn State Wrestling has two seniors who might go into MMA: Carter Starocci (174 lbs) and Greg Kerkvliet (Hwt). They both have another year of eligiblity, but there's some chance they'll opt to move on. Starocci will first focus on qualifying for the Olympics.

A bit of controversy during the NCAA finals bout at 174lbs when Burroughs said he'd attack Starocci's injured leg if the two met in Trials. Former Nittany Lion defended his teammate on X (Twitter):
