It's been a mess since Bruce left. And I'm over it.

Until this organization can prove to me they're worth the investment and time and money. I'm done.

They ruined a good thing with Bruce. Absolutely destroyed a legend in Shalrie.

I'm over it. We fans deserve better.
Thank you to Bob Kraft.

I know there is a Portsmouth fan(or two) here. Pompey will be on live TV this afternoon, 3 p.m. on CBSSN vs. Sheffield Wednesday.

I think it'll end badly, but part of the motivation behind changing the schedule is to get the MLS playoffs away from College Football/NFL.

That's not going to fix anything. All it does is switch which part of the season gets negatively impacted by NFL ratings, and they picked the worse one. On top of that, they have just conceded the spring and summer months to baseball and the spring football league in the UFL while MLS's playoffs now have to go up against the NBA Finals. No one in their right mind is going to watch MLS on a Saturday when College Football is on every major station and the NBA Finals is playing in the spring and summer months. This decision is not only dumb, but it could be fatal for the MLS.

Did they?

It seems to me that the biggest reason to make this switch is to make sure that the playoffs avoid being negatively impacted by football.

So they wanted to avoid being negatively impacted by the NFL opening day...only to get negatively impacted by the NBA Finals? How does that even make sense? Not to mention the conflict with March Madness at the expense of losing their most profitable stretch of their current season format from June to mid August.

Keep in mind that the only reason that this is even happening is because MLS is too petty to call for an international break during the season.

A little bit of table talk: Liverpool looks good for a title run, with Man. City faltering, and the race for Europe could be chaotic, with places 3-9 separated by a point. In Scotland, Celtic is tied at the top on points with... Aberdeen. The last club to break the Old Firm stranglehold was Aberdeen in 1985, managed by Sir Alex Ferguson.
