No one on earth had Austria winning this group. All three safely advance anyway.

We'll have a better sense of the bracket after the group C games today, but could have some good matchups. The only one locked in some so far is Switzerland/Italy at the top of the bracket.

Watching Copa America, the CONCACAF ref sent off a Peru defender for absolutely nothing and Canada took advantage of the 11 on 10 situation to go up 1-0 with 15 minutes left. They were dominating up until that point. This really screws Peru over, they'd need to beat Argentina outright to even have a chance to advance.

They did get away with a headbutt earlier in the first half but that red card to Araujo was a disgrace.

Both end in draws. Romania wins the group, Belgium second, Slovakia advances in third place. Ukraine gonzo.

And for their trouble, the Belgians have drawn France in the R16. Good luck there.

All that's left is Group F. Turkiye and Czechia are playing for second place. If it's a draw, Czechia is out and Hungary gets the last third place spot. If Czechia wins by two or fewer, Turkiye advances and Hungary is out. If Georgia beats Portugal then all hell breaks loose.

Basically the scenarios for R16 are this:

If Hungary is the last third place qualifier:
ESP/SVK, GER/DEN, POR/HUN, FRA/BEL, ROM/SVN, AUT/[TUR or CZE], ENG/NED, SUI/ITA

If Turkiye is the last third place qualifier:
ESP/TUR, GER/DEN, POR/SVN, FRA/BEL, ROM/NED, AUT/CZE, ENG/SVK, SUI/ITA

Basically England is hoping the Czechs and/or Georgians win today, Romania praying that the Turks win or draw.

I saw someone online say that every match of Copa America has 87 minutes of s***housery, and 3 minutes of actual soccer.
