This England-Denmark match is a classic example of a team with significantly less talent, using their structure and organization and playing within their system (Denmark) completely outplaying a side with significantly more talent, playing with no structure and resorting to 11 players improvising (England).

Southgate is going to get absolutely CREAMED by the English press in the next 24hrs. And rightly so.

They'll still probably advance, unlikely they lose to Slovenia, but yeah, unless they win the whole tournament I'm sure Southgate is getting canned. England has been surprisingly listless.

Denmark also seems underrated, they're the quiet side that no one ever talks about but always finds their ways into quarterfinals of major tournaments and gets results against the power nations.
