CC is the probable for tomorrow right? Not sure I'd trust anyone else in this rotation in a do or die game.

Several posters in this thread could have called this game in June. We were mocked.

Can't wait until we acquire more power in the offseason, start the cycle all over again, and got mocked again.

Simply put, this team needs to be good at more than one aspect of baseball.
Facts.

We'll also trade/sign a good reliever and use trash in important situations again.

Doubt it, he can actually manage a team. Need to replace Rothschild and Thames as well.

He's managed the Indians to a 3-1 WS choke, a 2-0 ALDS choke against Joe Girardi, and got smoked by the Astros this year. Is AJ Hinch a genius? Everybody's a genius when your best players show up and execute in big games.

I'm willing to give Boone another year because he's green, but the HC and PC should change. Rothschild is the same and Thames was promoted from the old regime. It's the same old voices that have gotten us as far as they'll get us and reached their limitations.

Ya'll getting all preachy about the offense realize that its the pitching that hasn't shown up in this series right?

Thats on Cashman. This is what happens when you treat borderline prospects like they're Vlad Gurrerro Jr.

The offense had a million chances to get a clutch hit in game 1 against the crappy Boston bullpen and couldn't do squat.

It would take the Yankees 8 weeks to score 14 different runs not driven in by a homer.

Took the Red Sox 8 innings.

The team needs a lot of improvements to their rotation as well, but we can't keep ignoring that they need improvements to their offense.

Nobody succeeds in any sport being completely one-dimensional.

The Sox and Astros are the competition. They can score 97 different ways. The Yankees can score one way.

Part of what made the Old Yankees so good was that it seemed like their big guys were always so clutch (even of clutch just meant being able to reliably repeat their regular season production in the playoffs). Of course Jeter and Bernie, but Tino, Posada, etc. They always seemed to come through. And the various pitchers. Clemens, Pettitte, Mussina, Wells, and so forth, god I can't even remember them all. They always showed up. You felt confident they'd come through when you needed them. Not to say Torre wasn't a good manager but they made him an HOF manager. I don't know the stats on all those guys, just my recollection.
