You know time flies when the Cubs are now two years removed from their WS win.

I think the experience some of these guys gained last year really went a long way in them pulling through yesterday. Oakland lost 95 games last season, so I'm sure after all is said and done they are just happy that they were given a chance to make the playoffs

Oakland will be back. We lucked out with Maenea being hurt (maybe they still win, but Oakland wouldn't have been subjected to the pen game approach had he been good to go.)

Dat smooth celly and backing up tho

So...is the Happ trade a full blown success if he wins tomorrow, even if they lose the series? That was the whole point of the trade, right? For him to beat Boston in the playoffs.

I'd consider it a success right now.

And there's Luzardo to come who I think will be very very good.

I usually watch every playoff gane at home but I have to watch this while on the road traveling. Maybe itll change our luck.

as a Mets fan, should I root for the Yankees, or the Boston Yankees?
Def Boston. Yea yea, Boston NY rivalry, but as a Giants fan I will always root for the Pats to shellack the Jay Ee Tee Es every time, even before the giants more recent SB wins, but that’s just me.

You're talking to a Jets fan...

I'm rooting for the Yankees now
