Yeah I'd wager he's just done for the season at this point. We were witnessing something historic and the rug got pulled out from under :(

At this point, I would shut him down for the season....why take the chance of a more permanent injury?

Mets remind me of those dark ages teams of the Rangers where they had a collection of guys who on paper were pretty good, but in reality everything sucked absolute butthole and you were just...disappointed. All the time. f*** this season, just please let it be over.

Unfortunately it appears it’s going to take more than one season to get the Wilpon stink off the furniture.

Doctors get too caught up in fancy tests. Idc what the MRI says, you listen to the patient and rest the arm until he can throw without any discomfort or tightness. The whole rest him for 2 weeks and then throw him out there again was dumb

lol, Green blows another game. This is my surprised face:

Thats a great description.

interesting offseason for sure coming up. I wouldnt resign Conforto or Baez. Also would look to trade Smith.

Not sure about JD davis. I think i would keep him.

this team needs to find some clutch hitters, and people who put the ball in play, or walk. Too reliant on Hrs and we strikeout way too much.
Unfortunately our system isnt ready to deliver replacements and our OF prospects arent of the best quality

Sadly, that is the essence of almost all ballplayers today. the days of hitting for average, making contact, putting the ball in play, etc. are almost gone. Can't remember the last time I saw a hit and run play or a double steal.
