Seems like things have gone off the rails for the Yankees since they took 2 of 3 from the Braves. After that series which ended on July 4, it’s been too many stops and starts.

Had a run of 6 wins in 7 games last week, but have lost 3 of their last 4

I can’t see Oakland staying this hot and Seattle has had a tendency to mess up in pennant races since 2002.
You know, guy, you're probably right. But man, do you post about anything other than why team X isn't built for the playoffs, how team Y always chokes, how the pitchers on team Z will never hold up? It's like you're in this thread to reassure everyone it will be okay because literally everyone else has a crippling flaw. I love it.

Joey Bats cranking a granny off Leiter's nephew is fantastic.

Mets hang a ten spot. They'll probably score ten over the next five games.

The Mets need to trade Blevins now that he has rebuilt his value. Also Mesoraco, maybe Bautista if anyone wants him.

38 runs in two games? From the Mets? What the **** is going on here?
40 runs in consecutive games. When's the last time anyone did that? Other interesting trivia. Mets 24 runs broke franchise record set 31 years ago to the day. The last time a team scored and allowed 24+ runs in a game during the same season was 1894. Last time an NL team scored 15+ runs in consecutive games was 1933.

When it rains,it pours.Everything is going bad for them right now.Just have to keep battling and pull through it.
