Judge could probably eat Altuve.

I think that should factor into MVP voting.

How valuable are you if you're getting digested?

I'm pulling for Houston to win it all.

Screw LA and their spoiled, entitled fans. The only city more spoiled by championships in recent history across the sports spectrum is Boston.

Which one of Betance/Robertson/Chapman will be traded? All 3 will make high salary and the bullpen is deep enough to make one of them expendable to get below the salary threshold.

Chapman obviously won't be moved.

'Selling high' on DRob would probably be logical, but it would send the wrong message to the fanbase after the promising postseason he had.

Betances high risk/high reward guy at this point, but I think teams would still kick tires to trade for him.

We should be fielding offers on Betances and Castro.

I don't buy it.

If Girardi goes, its going to be his call. I also don't think he would announce it while the world series is going on, even if tomorrow is an off day.

IF he does want out, who replaces him?

Mattingly would be my first choice.

Pena
Thompson
Guillen
Scioscia
Long
ARod
LaRussa (i wish but prob too old at 72)
Showalter (he wont become available)

Thompson IMO. ARod can take his old spot and then eventually be groomed to be the hitting coach,

Somewhat weird considering they were up close to seeing him send Bird home twice - only to be gunned out.

Thompson probably. I assume Girardi and Long both both end up in D.C. although the Mets might overpay him to keep him away from the Nats on a new contract
