OT: MLB Thread 2025

Minter considering surgery that would put him out for the season. That would suck. They can probably cover it now, but they'll need another arm or two at (or before) the deadline.
 
Did you guys see the "fall" from the Pittsburg stands? They are calling it an accident. I wish I could see it clearer because in a grainy video it not look like a typical fall. What do you guys think?

Definitely looks like he jumped in the one video that's out there.
 
First game I’ve been legitimately pissed off at the Mets this year. Offense going through the motions the last 2, handed the games Arizona
 
1. Movement/Rotation/Spin call it what you want.
2. Location
3. Speed

Velocity is the least important factor in trying to hit MLB pitching. Many MLB pitchers have a 95 mph fastball. Many of them are below average because they don't have command and control. Maddux is a top 25 player all-time and for most of his career he had a 92 mph fastball.

The DH is great for fans who don't like strategy or thinking.
