OT: MLB Thread 2025

  • Xenforo Cloud is doing server maintenance Thurdsay 13th at 9 AM GMT. Downtime is to be expected during the process. Server changes were implemented recently to cope with the traffic surge last week. This seems to be affecting the user login, so please anyone experiencing this, log out and clear the browser cache. We expect to have this issue solved once the maintenance is complete.
  • We are currently aware of "log in/security error" issues that are affecting some users. We apologize and ask for your patience as we try to get these issues fixed.
Only the Yankees can have shit like this happen to them. Season didn't even start yet and already they have multiple guys out.

The Mets are down Manaea, Montas, and Alvarez. They had a questionable rotation to begin with so being without Manaea and Montas even if for a few weeks is problematic.

Losing Cole is of course more significant, no doubt. Losing Stanton as this point I feel like is more of an expectation than anything.

As far as injuries to position players, the Yankees do get it bad, and that's on them for hedging their bets on guys that are clearly baked.

As far as pitchers go, it's everyone. The human body is not meant to be throwing the pitches they're throwing nowadays.

Also, Cole has had an issue with that elbow for awhile now and the Yankees swept it under the rug to do what, lose to the Dodgers? That's also on them.

Genuinely not sure how this one got off the floor lol.

A lot of them looked like shit and quite a few were stuff like NYR94 posted. The Texas Rangers hat said "TETAS" LMFAO
There was no upside here. Even the non-offensive ones just look dumb.

Any time somebody says I'm wrong because the coach this and that, I'm gonna remind them that like four departments approved this.
