The first on field celebration at home since winning the NL East in 2006. Citi Field was given it's christening tonight.

Left my seat for one half inning, it was the top of the 4th. The sausage and peppers were worth it.

The 1st and 2nd inning, it was the same old Mets. The 6th was the OMG Mets. The 9th was as classic of a Mets closer game you could get.

Again Vientos with multiple hits. Has the Mets NLDS record with 9 in a series, and it only went 4.

Going to be tough, but I'd rather see the Dodgers over the Padres. Their rotation is in shambles.

We've gotten the memory inducing big blasts from Lindor, Vientos, and Alonso. Time for McNeil and Nimmo to get theirs in a big spot.

This all takes me back to that time the Yankees played the Rays in Citi Field for a Rays home game due to a hurricane.

What a weird experience.
But it gave us one of the best images of all time:
