Was that the general premise here? I remember this board wanted to run Pineda out of town, but not Eovaldi.

Eovaldi was a constant 4.00+ ERA pitcher rocking constantly high WHIP and then injured his elbow.

I don't know how hard one should get on the Yankees from moving on at that point. Quite a few teams did it before them.

I felt he was quite underrated his Yankee tenure. I think he might've still been on that team if not for the surgery. Now we are miserably seeing him boss it in the playoffs for the arch-rivals. It sucks. =/

Would rather sign Harper than trade assets for 1 year of Goldschmidt with no real idea if he would re-sign here.

Corbin, Happ, Machado. Maybe trade Andujar for a true #1. And i would be happy to have Cutch back in the OF

Our lineup would be heavily right handed.

Andujar won't get you a true #1. You'll need to add.

Safe to say any Goldy trade means he comes with an extension.

I mean he is likely the rookie of the year. He hit over .290. If his defense was better then hands down he gets you a #1. But sure they would add but it wouldnt be one of the more significant pieces. And this isnt the Bumgarner of 3-5 years ago either.

Ohtani should be rookie of the year. For a true #1 it'd need to be Andujar plus a top prospect.

If the Yankees could get a solid #2 for Andujar, that is a real solid deal for them. They need more QUALITY starts. Severino was a #1 for most of the year. Re-sign Happ. That's 3 solid starters.

I'd still sign Harper

Andujar's value probably depends on whether teams are looking at him as a 3B they can "fix" or if they're looking at him as a 1B/DH down the road. If it's the latter, that decreases his value and probably suppresses demand.

5 more runs in Houston yesterday than we had in the entire ALCS.

Let's trade our only guy who gets hits.
