I wonder if Rendon might be available
He's already 32. A long term deal would be a mistake.I think Donaldson would be a good get.

Wasn't he injury riddled this year? It would be our luck that this is beginning of his body breaking down.Don't think he'll get a big contract. I can see him getting a 3/60-70 type deal. Would take him for that in a heart beat.

32 and showing signs of breaking down. He's already 32. A long term deal would be a mistake.
The longball/OBP method is a recipe for disaster. Because that method includes a lot of swing and miss and less gap to gap hitting.
How about firing Thames and giving someone else a go. #Joke
There is something to be said about the COACHING when every player in your lineup does the same thing over and over again in the same situations.Last night the Brewers got into situations where all they needed were hits, and they consistently went opposite field.
Where does that come from if it isn't the coaching?
Oh solid. Comparing hitting coaches over the last 5 seasons that saw drastically different rosters over that span. Thats a good thing to draw on.
But you know what can be drawn on? Guys like Greg Bird and Gary Sanchez regressing significantly in their production, ability and swing, driving balls gap to gap, and a number of other areas of hitting.
But why should i bother going in depth with you...weren’t you the same guy that made the asinine remark about a two strike meaning simply choking up? Yea think so, dude.
“Buddy”, thats not what shortening up means when it comes to the essence of hitting. But it is pointless to get into this with you. You clearly have zero clue about hitting because you clearly dont have any level of knowledge or experience with it past say little league? Maybe high school backup? Not wasting time teaching you things you dont know. Which is why discussing the importance of a hitting coach and the way this teams hitting approach was this whole year as a problem will go nowhere. You reference reddit...you said it yourself, you couldnt have explained it better, or worse, because well you cantlol buddy... you said "shorten up" and I made a reference to choking up on the baseball bat. Choking up on the bat literally shortens your swing and that's why guys do it.
What the **** are you going on about?
Gimme a f***ing break darko. The Brewers have plenty of hitters in that lineup that can hit in different situations. They had one bad game with bad ABs. Yankees had the wrong hitting philosophy all season and it was their downfallBrewers going up there looking for home runs and continually swinging and missing. What a difference from last night. Coaching right?

Well i mean i guess thats just a concession there based on that response. Didnt like reality. Oh well.you're a garbage poster, confirmed. ignored...

Safe to say easily. But please go on and tell me more about how the yankees didnt/dont have issues with their hitting philosophy when 9 hitters consistently take the same approach every AB, in every situation, with every sing. Starts with the coach, its their job to step in and intervene and change the focus of priorities.Safe to say you played semi professional baseball? College ball maybe?

I dont disagree, there Starting Pitching is the problem.Dodgers won game 7 by hitting 2 big home runs. There is no right or wrong approach. A team that gets hot at the right time of the year tends to go on and win majority of the time. Plenty of teams have bashed their way through the postseason. Daniel Murphy went on a HR spree and took the Mets to WS.
Yankees downfall isn't their lineup. It's the lack of pitching. Starting pitching.
