His possession metrics cratered this year. Was he playing hurt? Or did he take the summer off to hit up the cabin again?

Let's get those Colton + for Marchand @50% vibes going!
[value for Boston is awful, but let me pretend for a minute]
I think March would be good insulation for Mitts on a 3rd line.

edit: HF didn't save my last line

Is Landeskog expected back for the playoffs? If he is I could see the Avs running a bottom six featuring a bumslayer line with Landeskog and Mittelstadt on it alongside a more traditional checking line with Drury and Colton.

There's still no timetable for Landy to even fully participate in practice. My expectation is that his career is done. Anything else at this point would be a nice surprise.

As for Mitts, he's been playing with a revolving cast of linemates all season, which makes it really hard to develop chemistry and be able to quickly predict what the other guys are going to do. As a result, he's being forced to think more and react, and I think that's causing problems. I think if the Avs could ever stay healthy and give him the same wingers for more than 2 or 3 games in a row, the results might be different. But, since that obviously can't happen in Denver, I don't know what the right move is.

You think with all these prices we're seeing for rentals, a 26 year old signed with term is going to go for a 3rd round pick?

 That doesn't surprise me from a Canucks fan actually.

This is my guess as well.... But the Avs do kind of need a Dman now and yeah the price for Centers is insane so who knows.

Could also see Ross Colton being the guy they move instead.
This didn't age well. lol
