Talk about a depreciated asset. This guy is like the worst investment anyone has ever made.

In game 7 alone, would not go anywhere near the front of the net... had multiple opportunities. And just lets Pasta skate away from him to score the winner, like zero effort to even keep up. Thought he had a great hockey IQ. Most of us could see what was coming there.

I do not want to see him in a Leafs uniform ever again. I don't care what we get in return...

The lack of offense was largely excused by many due to the great job he & his line had been doing on Pastrnak throughout the series.

Pastrnak blows right by him for the series winner.

I love Mitch. I think his best years are still to come.

I love this team more. Think I'm ready for something different

1 goal and 3 points in 7 games. His desperation level was that of an exhibition game.
Yep. Looked like Pastrnak was his assignment and it looked like he simply resigned himself to whatever was going to happen was up to Sammy and (hopefully?) Reilly.

It's the habit of effortlessness blessed with enough talent to justify it in the regular season....and that must be a hell of a chemical to turn off.

But here's the reality: He's not going anywhere until 2025. And who knows from there.
