Mitch Marner, Yet Again

lol, I’m kinda surprised you’ve been crashing out like this. The lines from Ottawa game didn’t work. That’s a coaching decision. Nylander scored on a good play, but his line was awful, so was Marner’s. Those combos just don’t work.

With the evolution of Nylander’s game, he’s not a great fit with Matthews. Both want the puck and both want to shoot. That’s why Domi and Marner are Matthews preferred guys. Matthews wants the puck, so he needs one guy to go get it and one guy to distribute it to him. Our offense is pretty much built around 34.

It’s not you tbh your debates are reasonable some of your friends however aren’t and some of their takes are out to lunch the same as some of mine for sure but I can admit it that’s the difference nylander was going no matter who he was with his line didnt look horrible any line marner touched looked horrible last game if we’re being honest like we usually are

Two huge mistakes. Should we make a third mistake and pay Marner $13-14m ?

Willie is second in goal scoring though but the only time he was worth $11.5m was in the 39 games he dominated before he signed. Sadly we don't see enough of that guy.

I’m sure if he played with knies and matthews for 80 games you’d see him a lot more of often then you do now with a guaranteed weak linemate on his line
