Marner was told to go away. He refused. He forced his way on the team and is playing terrible. The whole team is playing terrible. Does nobody else think there is more to it that management wanted to waive him?

What setups are you talking about? Do you have a pass stat to reference? Matthews has the same amount of primary assists for linemate Knies than playmaker Marner. This doesn't make any sense if Marner is some wonderkind playmaker that some try to describe him as. Especially considering Matthews is actually a shooting threat while Marner just sets up on the perimeter and sauces passes.

There's obviously something wrong with Matthews shooting this season as he has his worst regular season shooting percentage EVER.
Last season when Matthews had his highest ever sh% Marner primary assisted on 24 goals and was injured for a month while Matthews had 2 primary assists on Knies goals.

In the last three full season Marner is 5th in 5v5 primary assists.

I'll ask again, because ou seem to have missed my question. What Marner setups? How are you tracking these supposed setups Matthews is missing? Do you have a link to the stats that indicate all Marners prime passes that have gone unscored.

Tight games he disappears he doesn’t like contact Hes not strong enough to fight thru it and he doesn’t even try to the guys a talented ballerina on skates tight game yet again Willy is our best player if Matthews wasn’t injured and he was away from Mitch he would be our best player marner needs to figure it out and fast cause the playoffs is coming up and we could have had 200 pound rantanen instead
