Thinking back to a few years ago, Marner had such an unbelievable game against Carolina. I want to say we won a comeback 8-7 and it was an afternoon game. God i miss times pre contract talks. I'm concerned that we're on the downswing and we have one more shorter era of this core on a retool, before we have to start again. Yeah he just may end up losing some $ if he waits too long and some teams decide to go elsewhere or sign lower end players which limits what he can be offered.
