They pointed out today that Sam Reinhart scored more goals (4) in the Stanley Cup winning game, and Marner hasn't scored 4 goals in his last 20 playoff games over the last 2 years playoffs combined.

He had only 1 goal against Boston in 7 games in 2024, and 1 goal against Ottawa in 6 games and 1 goal against Florida in 7 games in 2025.

1 goal per series Mitch means he might hit 4 goals if the Leafs went all the way to the finals in a season.

How will the Leafs ever replace his missing offense with the mere $11 mil cap space recaptured?

And "generational goal scorer" Auston Matthews needed two years of playoffs to score 4 goals.

I can't stand Mitch at this point. Everything about him pisses me off TBH. But at the end of the day he statistically has been one of the best regular season Maple Leafs of all time. You can't really deny that IMO.

He also has every right to do exactly what he is doing. I just have no time for his nonsense about always being for the team after what he's pulled during this "negotiation". He is full of shit.

Why are some so concerned with what his next contract will be when it’ll be another teams issue?

It’ll be tough. 100 point all situation players don’t grow on trees.
The team shares your concern which is why they’re trying to bring him back.
If he does walk, hopefully they’re up to the task.

Leafs PK was 17th in the league. whoop whoop!

I hate Marner on the PK anyways, he is very overrated... he puts more effort into trying to cover his face then he does trying to block shots. See my avatar of him covering his face on a non shot!

Among right wingers who player 50 or more games last year and averaged over 18 minutes - 29.9 goals per 82 games.

So Marner is below average despite actually having the highest toi/game.

damn i didn't know marners comparables league wide include players like matt rempe and casey cizikas

maybe he should get 15M...total over an 8 year contract

your arguement is as dumb as the sentence above. You don't compare marner to random 900 players because he made more than them by tenfold
