Player Discussion Mitch Marner Part Infinity

Seems like you are okay with it considering you want to resign one of the biggest reasons for that failing.
The alternative is letting go a Rantanen valued player walk for free. It doesn't make any rational sense to let a player with that high of value walk for free.

Jesus Christ, I’m ribbing you about the Xanax that you brought up haha.

What does being a snowflake even mean? Soft or something?
You're the one mentioned Marner being friends with Kadri - I responded with who gives a flying f***? Then you got all sensitive. Go ahead, explain why anyone should care who Marner is friends with.

As for snowflake, it's a commonly used term and I suspect you know perfectly well what it means. If you're truly ignorant as to the meaning, feel free to consult urban dictionary or ask a friend.

Wrong. We want to make the playoffs, then go deep in the playoffs. Going deep in the playoffs is what it's all about, bizarre that you don't even mention playoff success in your post. Then again, since you're such a passionate Marner fanboy it all makes sense.

We made the playoffs, and we won the Atlantic. What an amazing successful season. Pathetic.
Winning the Atlantic helps with going deep in the playoffs. It's the first time we've won it and the furthest we've gone in 23 years. Facing Ottawa in the 1st round should've been more beneficial. What we needed was for Tampa to beat up on Florida more but they were a cake walk for them for whatever reason.

Was that not the trade at the deadline? Marner blocked it.
There are so many things wrong with your line of thinking here, I wouldn't even know where to begin.

If you think Marner is as valuable as Rantanen, all I can say is as the old saying goes - ignorance is bliss.

Gentlemen! I've never had a Xanax but I'd certainly have one after an average day of answering emails and calls

Yeah, it was crucial against Florida. Especially having those extra home games was a godsend.

Was that not the trade? Could have been Marner and a pick/prospect but it's still in the range of value. Letting Marner freely walk means you lost that potential value which was Rantanen - he could have been a leaf.

I got sensitive? Hahahaha.

I’ve never used the term or seen it used honestly.

It doesn't guarantee anything, but refuting that it doesn't help is nuts imo.
Then I'd suggest you don't refute it. ;)

You're not explaining anything, you're just dodging my question. Like I said, could Rantanen have been a leaf if Marner didn't block the trade?

Explaining to you seems like a waste of time but I did answer. I've repeated my answer several times, hard to believe you keep missing it. Here it is again, underlined and bolded so you can't possibly miss it again:

I don't believe you. Considering how often the term has been used here and how much time you spend posting here ... I don't believe you.

I have never been called a snowflake in my life. You’re the first person I’ve honestly seen use it. I don’t doubt it’s probably been used, but I usually stick to my same rotation 2 or 3 threads and I don’t think I’ve seen anyone in the Marner thread use it before unless I’ve missed that.

I’m at least 20-30 years younger than you, grew up in Scarborough, probably a completely different cultural background from you. I have honestly never heard anyone in my life / inner circle use that term.

I also can’t imagine anyone saying that in and the person they are saying that to, not just laughing, cause what kind of insult is that?
