Hmm lets compare:Perhaps the team doesn't feel he alone is the problem and after finally winning a Division aren't ready to move on from the guy who led the Team in scoring by 20 points and plays in all situations.
It doesn't sound like you want him to stay at any cost but if you look at it objectively you can see why the Team wouldn't be so quick to just let him walk.
2021-2022 Florida Panthers won Presidents Trophy as the team with most points in the season.
That year, Huberdeau led Florida in points by 27. Following a disappointing playoffs, Panther GM, Bill Zito, traded 29 year old Huberdeau because he reportedly did not like Huberdeau's soft playoff style.
Since being traded, Huberdeau hasnt produced more than 62 points in three seasons for the Flames.
Huberdeau is a pass first winger (with size).
After trading Huberdeau, Panthers go to finals back to back and could go a third consecutive time (hopefully not).
Hmm this sounds similar
