That's leafs strategy in PK, one foward (red)playing high to put pressure on D
A D and 2nd foward (orange) on both side to cover the one timer and cover shot from there
and a D in front to clear the front of the net...
It is normal than marner who's playing red position in PK play higher than matthews who's playing orange? Yes that's exactly the leafs strategy and if he didn't plsy that way, we wouldn't do his job in PK except if he switch position with the second foward so at this moment he should stay down low.
