I’m convinced you just started watching the leafs last year. He had a knee on knee with Alex Edler that was weeks prior to the playoffs against Montreal. I went back and did a search there are no reports the indicated he was injured during the playoffs, he was healthy. You can’t even find an article that references he was labouring during the playoffs or that he has any procedures following the series loss against Montreal. In fact, all articles around the incident report that he was cleared by Toronto’s medical staff and it was just a MCL sprain, no ligament damage.Bro he was injured against the Canadiens I can’t confirm acl to say acl but he was on one leg
You can’t even get the playoffs right. Zach Hyman taking the PK draws was in 2019 with Mike Babcock against Boston. The guy was on one leg in that series after game 4 and Babcock played him insane minutes in games 5-7, which was part of the reason why Matthews got pissed off and Babcock had to fly to Arizona to smooth things over.
