Marner is pretty universally popular with players, coaches, management, and most fans.
That's obviously not true. Toronto would have a higher engagement average, but the topic and approach is still going to drive a lot of variance.
If Marner was universally popular with fans you wouldn’t have a 2 month old thread with 11K posts raging about Marner on HFBoards. Compare and contrast the volume to other star players.
At this point I think you’re just arguing for sport and have no point to make.
