From the parts that I caught, Marchand looked pretty good alongside Lundell and luostarinen. We obviously want to see the marchand-Bennett-tkachuk line, but we can run the same top-6 as we did on last years winning team and sub out Tarasenko for Marchand essentially. We’ll see when tkachuk is back but I didn’t think Marchand has looked great with Bennett but I’m sure that’ll change when they want to become menaces and destroy everything and everyone during the playoffs. Either way, we have options. That’s assuming tkachuk is healthy enough to play and remain in the games

I'm not going to get on Luostarinen for lack of scoring when guys we pay a lot more money to score goals are not scoring, either.

Yup, we don't need Luosty to score. He's there to play great defense, is a staple on the pk, and is one of our best forecheckers. He's important for our identity.bb

Positives:
4th line (especially Nosek) was excellent, Megna rocksolid huge guy in the backend with supersafe outlet passes is a nice surprise, first line did a fantastic job containing TOR 1st line, Luosty-Lundell-Marchand line with obvious good chemistry, Puljujärvi a hitting machine, Luosty and Swaggy finally score! Bob with a very good game

Negatives:
One of the poorer games by Jones. Each time he made a mistake it resulted in a huge chance for TOR. But he will be perfect as 2nd pair RD when Ek is back

I hope anyone concerned had those issues cleared up last night.

That was Panthers playoff hockey to perfection. Physical, hard battling, defensive minded and opportunistic. We dominated the best team in the division and made it look easy, without some of our best players in the lineup as well. Megna has been a really nice addition to the lineup, he played another very solid game.

Last night showed me this team is ready for the playoffs. I hope the East is ready.

This team if healthy is the class of the NHL. Their little joke March-April that has become a tradition has not changed that.
