Although he obviously didn't influence the final score, I thought his 7 minutes had plenty of action in them. Two goalmouth scrums, punching one King in the face with no retaliation, jamming at the puck at the side of the net, causing more mayhem, and then hitting Doughty so that Doughty fell awkwardly into his goalie, causing his girdle and tampon to twist badly, so he had to skate with discomfort back to his bench. If that type of thing is what he can bring once he's up to speed and playing regular minutes, I can hardly wait!

Yes, the funny thing with KFC is that the signature food, fried chicken, hasn't been good for a long time. Everything is else is pretty good.

Ya I find that funny. Their popcorn chicken is still good my kids love that and their chicken strips in the boneless box meal is good too.

Definitely need to try those wings though. So strange. The KFC by my house doesn't even advertise those
 
Ovi has the most goals, but Wayne still has the hotter wife !

P.S. Wayne has a few other dozen records that nobody will touch

Your idea of solving a problem is removing a solid piece and trying to upgrade it, while leaving the problem piece alone. Taking out Pickards 1 million and replacing it with a likely much larger contract, while leaving a 2.6 million dollar contract in place. On a team that is up against the cap and needs every dollar it can.

Pickard made a bunch of nice saves yesterday. Skinner robbed Tkachuk, Verhaige and Barkov of some key goals to keep the team in it.

In both games the Oilers did little offensively, hence the loss.

You’re the one going on this tangent based on my one sentence answer because of arguments we had over a month ago. Seems a bit obsessive… Do I need to change my address like you changed your name in the hope that people would forget who you were on here?

And your friend who replied before you thinks I want Pickard gone, so can you guys make up your mind about my opinion?

Ya’ll need a hobby other than getting mad on the internet for losing an argument (or in Stoneman’s case, not comprehending what someone wrote and getting embarrassed about it, then doubling down on the mistake for optimal laughs).

The worst are the posters who get mad at you personally for your opinions on other players. I'm all for harmlessly teasing posters like CROTT (who seems to actually be a good sport about it), but when people make unprovoked personal attacks because you don't like their favorite player, that's a bit pathetic.

And I don't know, Pickard has been pretty dependable lately and looked good in 2.33 games in last year's playoffs, so we might be slightly better off if he's trusted to start...but his GSAx is worse than Skinner's. Although I've started paying closer attention to GSAx on MoneyPuck in relation to the actual performances, and as you said yesterday, their stats didn't quite match the eye test. I think more than anything, I just want to believe this team has a chance to win it all, but my mind is telling me that you're probably right.

Well, to actually be fair, you would need to share pictures of Janet from the 80s, but I still think Mrs. Ovie wins this one.

Ovechkin strikes me as a as work-play hard and play-play hard kind of guy who would be more fun to have at a party than Wayne. I also got that vibe with Messier, pre-cancer Lemieux, and definitely Jagr.

Without a doubt OV would be a blast at a party, you just need to look at his summer activities to see how much he likes to have fun. As for Janet, let's just say she was half plastic in her younger days as well, never looked natural like Mrs OV does.
