What do you disagree with. Kuzmenko has 8pts for Kings in last 4gp and has been leading them in every game. What did we get? WE have the weakest goaltending of any club headed into playoffs and the issue wasn't even looked at. Sure we can beat the Kings, not saying different. We could lose to them too. This is the worst record by the club in several years and firmly in third place.
Kuzmenko has been a better addition to LA than either Arvid or Skinner. This org loves getting older players that are mostly washed up.

I thought it would be worse. I like our defenceman and Pickard played well, for a AHL superstar.

No one is worried about him in the playoffs.
We get it, you love the kings and everything they do.
When teams hit posts against the Oilers he holds it against them, when the Oilers hit them, he holds it against the Oilers.

It seemed like a good goal. What Oiler was making plays like that? Kuzmenko is making some sweet plays for LA and looking like he did when he entered league. That player was available. You thrilled with our forward lineup?
Kings aren't much. But Oilers on their worst season in several years haven't been a whole lot either.
32 regulation W's in 76GP. It ain't much.

This is also the first time in years where the team's been injured to hell and back during the home stretch of a season. The fact they're treading water without their best 3 players is better than most would have expected.

Honestly, I would love to see even more of the bot-like entities on here leave for that Discord where many people with awful takes seem to be flocking... Unfortunately, I feel like they're still lurking here and will pop up again like whack-a-moles to confirm all of my cynical beliefs in our intelligence as a species.
I actually find this place a lot more tolerable than I did a year ago, where I couldn't even say Sam Carrick was a bad acquisition who would spend the playoffs in the press box without getting gang-flamed.

The Oilers are infallible in the eyes of some. That game yesterday resembled the stock market. They barely threatened to score, which again reaffirms the narrative that the depth on this team is next to non-existent. The team is yet again banking on McDavid and Draisatl to put up superhuman numbers when it counts the most and we have already seen how that story ends.
There’s zero chance of playing Vegas. Calgary and Vancouver are pretty much too far back to catch us. The current wildcard teams are central teams and they can’t take our spot.

Well hopefully no more than one of Jones, Kapanen, Janmark and Brown are in the lineup on any given night.
I wound up having salami with soft cheese on rice crackers for my midnight rum induced snack. Was pretty good but now I am craving French toast with bacon.

Kuzemenko has been a good pick up. Hes a questionable player who has some strengths. He has a good shot and can score some goals. Hes one dimensional. I give the Kings credit for finding a player that helps covers weaknesses in their own game and actually finding a spot on the roster where he can benefit.
But you know whos a similar type of player? Jeff Skinner. His shot isn’t as good but he scores in a different ways. Hes a proven goal scorer. And the Oilers have spent the entire year either not finding a place for him or making him change his game to fit their system. Why Jackson targeted him or Knoblauch refuses to play him, I’ll never know. And even after he changes the way he plays, he still barely gets any opportunity, But its basically a microcosm of why our forwards have been disappointing this year.
You are right, he didn't. But I do like the fact that we have guys in the lineup are finally finishing checks. Looking forward to seeing that toothless wonder Doughty getting constantly hammered into the boards during the playoffs.
