I wouldn't look into it. 1st, 2nd and 3rd picks are usually teammates, and there is some dumb rule i believe that you have to take both of your goalies in first ____ picks.

The players for Team North American Youngstars will be selected from a pool of the best young hockey players from Canada and the United States. Those players age 23 and under will be available for selection exclusively by Team North American Youngstars.

So Connor McDavid for example, wouldn't be eligible for Team Canada. He can only play for the "Youngstars" team.

The NHL and NHLPA will also be selecting "Team Europe" so you know that team will be a mess.

I expect, when the time comes, that there will be some exceptional statuses given. Like in case of McDavid for example. And that would be even stupider. (the fact that they would go against the rule; the rule is stupid enough in the first place)

Going on and on about him being the best pick in the draft, saying he's one of the best leaders in the game, will go out and fight for his teammates and is one of the best players in the game to boot. Citing how he wanted to go up against Crosby and then beat him physically and in the series with his game. He went on for a while about it while Bylsma kind of just stared at him.

What else are they going to talk about on NHL tonight when the only thing that happened was the fantasy draft for the all-star game. THey went through and asked who their favorite picks were, Melrose's was Giroux.
